FA Cup second round draw details
Non-league minnows Swindon Supermarine face a trip to League One promotion chasers Colchester in the second round of the FA Cup. FC United of Manchester, who overcame League One Rochdale in the first round, will visit either Brighton or Woking. Ties will be played on weekend of the 27 and 28 November. MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon will meet for the first time if they win replays - the Dons were formed when the old Wimbledon FC moved to Milton Keynes. AFC Wimbledon were formed in 2002 in response to the 1988 FA Cup winners' relocation from south London. MK Dons came into being in 2004. Dover, who overcame local rivals Gillingham of League Two on Saturday, will entertain Brentford or Aldershot, while Droylsdon will be at home to Dagenham and Redbridge or Leyton Orient. Big-spending Crawley Town will host League One Swindon Town and fellow Blue Square Bet Premier side Darlington will play the winner of the tie between Rotherham and York City. | |
